A Few Words By The Artist
WHEN
ROSES BLOOMWhen Roses Bloom – The title of this piece of music is
in reference to Prime Minister Pierre Elliot Trudeau’s signature wearing
of a rose in the lapel of his suit jacket. This rose that he wore with
such pizzazz became for me, and I suspect others, a symbol of his
sophistication, his courage, his intelligence and his grace under fire.
He made me feel proud to be Canadian. Therefore I thank Sandro Dominelli,
Chris Andrew, Mike Lent and Kent Sangster for their excellent
interpretation of this work. A piece of music well performed to honour a
life well lived. Thank you Prime Minister Trudeau.
